Images: stack, carousel, grid
Choose how several photos show on a page: one under another, swiped sideways, or two per row.
When a Photos block holds more than one photo, you choose how they sit on the page. With one photo there is nothing to choose, so the Layout choice does not show.
The three layouts
- Stack: one photo under another. Visitors scroll down through them. This is the default.
- Carousel: the photos sit in a row and visitors swipe or scroll sideways.
- Grid: two photos per row.
Pick one
- Open the page and tap the Photos block.
- Add at least two photos with Upload photos, or press Choose from library to pick ones you uploaded before.
- Under Layout, choose Stack, Carousel or Grid.
- Press Save, then publish to show visitors.
Other things in the block
- The arrows next to each photo move it earlier or later in the block.
- A caption shows under a photo. There is also one caption for the whole group.
- Crop lets you choose the part of a photo that shows.
- The box named Describe it for people who can't see it is the text a screen reader reads. Fill it in for photos that carry meaning.
- A Video block with more than one video has the same Layout choice.
Layout is for pages shown as a list. A page shown as cards arranges photos with its own card layouts instead. See Card view vs list view.
