Card view vs list view
Show a page as blocks one under another, or as full-screen cards that visitors swipe sideways.
Each page is shown in one of two ways. You choose per page, and you can switch back and forth. Your blocks stay the same either way.
- List: blocks one under another, like a normal web page. Visitors scroll down.
- Cards: full-screen cards. Visitors swipe sideways from one to the next. On a computer they use the Previous and Next buttons or the left and right arrow keys.
Switch a page
- Open the page in the editor and find Show as.
- Choose List or Cards. The choice is saved to your draft right away.
- Publish to show visitors the change. Until then they see the last published version.
Work with cards
- The editor shows your cards as a grid. Tap a card to open it full screen and edit its block.
- Reorder cards with drag or the ⋯ menu: Move earlier, Move later, Move to the start. Pin to the start puts a card first, right after the cover.
- Shuffle layout arranges the cards and their colours again. The arrows next to it step back and forward through the layouts you have tried in this session.
- To keep one card's layout, open the card and choose it under Card layout. Auto follows Shuffle.
- A photo block has card layouts such as full photo, fanned photos, photo strip and photo grid. A text card has one layout.
Both views use your template. Visitors who ask their device to reduce motion see less movement in either view.
